Arrive in Lhasa, Our excellent tour guide and experienced driver will meet you at the airport or train station with Tibetan Traditional presenting Hada ceremony and a souvenir picture, and then transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day will be at leisure for acclimatization.
Note: Today is very important to acclimate the high altitude. You are suggested to drink more water and take some fruit to acclimate the high altitude. Please do not do much exercise or activities. No smoking and alcohol .
Main Attractions:Potala Palace/ Jokhang Temple/ Barkhor Street.
Usually our first stop is Potala Palace, which was built in the 7th century by the famous Tibetan King-Songtzen Gampo. It was known as the "Winter Palace" by the 1750, when the 7th Dalai Lama built the Norbulingka as his summer residence.
After lunch, visit Jokhang Temple, situated in the old section of Lhasa. King Songtzen Gampo built this temple in the mid-7th century A.D. Now it is the most sacred religious struture in Tibet.
Then you will visit the traditional Tibet Medical Factory to witness how the miraculous Tibetan medicine was produced.
After dinner, you are suggested to ramble over the Barkhor Street. This is a famous local handmade crafts market. You can choose and buy some presents to your families, relatives and friends.
Main Attractions:Drepung Monastery/Sera Monastery/Tibet Museum
Visit Drepung Monastery in the morning. The monastery used to be the most large monastery in Tibet where lodged more than 10000 monks at its summit in the morning.
In the afternoon, visit Tibet Museum and Sera Monastery which is famous for its Buddhism scriptures debating in the afternoon.
Main Attractions: Namtso Lake
Drive to Namtso Lake after breakfast. The Lake is one of the most famous three holy lakes (the other two lakes are Yamdrok Lake and Lake Manasarovar).
Main Attractions:Yamdrok-tso Lake/Pelkor Chode Monastery
Drive to Gyantse after breakfast. On the way, Yamdrok-tso Lake can be seen from the summit of the Kamba-la pass (4794m). Yamdrok is one of Three Holy Lake in Tibet (the other two are Namtso Lake and Manasarovar Lake). When you arrive at Gyantse, visit Pelkor Chode Monastery. The Monastery is founded in 1418, notable for its superb Kumbum Chode(10,000 Images Stupa). Arrive at Shigatse later for rest.
Note: The Yamdrok Lake and the Pelkhor Monastery are the highlights of today's activities.
Main Attractions:Rongphu
Early morning start driving to Rongphu via Lhatse and Shegar, cross over Gyatsola & Pangla Pass, where you will see the Himalaya mountain ranges in a clear day.
Rongphu is the highest monastery in Tibet, still a good point to see Mt.Everest. Afternoon start trekking from Rongphu to E.B.C, it takes about 2 hours. Or you can take a local sight seeing bus (pay by yourself).

Trip detail: If you are lucky enough, you will see sunrise at E.B.C. Late morning start driving back to Shigatse.
Main Attractions: Tashilunpo Monastery/Yarlong Tsangpo River
Morning visit the Bachen Lama Set - Tashilunpo Monastery, which was built in 1447 by the first Dalai Lama. Drive back to Lhasa along Yarlong Tsangpo River by the Nepal friendship road in the afternoon. Then, our guide will take you to visit a local Tibetan family and Tibetan carpet workshop for free.

Free in the morning, then drive to the airport or railway station .Leave for your next destination.
