    The Potala Palace, the world's highest-altitude palace and the iconic symbol of Tibet, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Originally constructed during the reign of King Songtsen Gampo, its striking White Palace and Red Palace stand in magnificent contrast, housing sacred stupas of successive Dalai Lamas and priceless Buddhist treasures.

    In the afternoon, explore the Jokhang Temple, the spiritual epicenter of Tibetan Buddhism. It enshrines the revered 12-year-old life-sized statue of Sakyamuni Buddha, brought to Tibet by Princess Wencheng. The temple's stone-paved courtyard bears witness to centuries of pilgrims' devout prostrations, making it the ultimate destination for religious devotees.


    Next, stroll along the Barkhor Street, the ancient pilgrimage circuit encircling the Jokhang Temple and the vibrant soul of Lhasa. This bustling thoroughfare is lined with traditional Tibetan shops offering bronze Buddha statues, exquisite thangka paintings, and the aroma of butter tea.     Drive to Shigatse via Yamdrok Lake & Gyantse. Enjoy the beautiful view of the lake . The visit to Gyantse Dzong is also your highlight today .


  • Main Attractions:Tashilhunpo Monastery

    Visit the spectacular Tashlunpho Monastery in the morning, then drive back to Lhasa in the afternoon. A special dinner at Majiami Café at Barkhor street, a place you cannot miss.


  • Main Attractions:Drepung/Sera Monasteries

    Drepung Monastery – Once the world's largest Tibetan Buddhist monastery (with 7,000+ monks), famed for its spectacular white-walled complex cascading down the mountainside. Morning visits reveal monks chanting in the 600-year-old Assembly Hall.

    Sera Monastery – Best known for its lively monk debates (3-5pm daily), where crimson-robed scholars passionately clap and debate Buddhist philosophy in a shaded courtyard. Don't miss its 15th-century golden sand mandalas.


  • Main Attractions:Yumbulagang/Tombs of the Tibetan Kings

    Drive to Tsetang. Upon arrival , visit the oldest building in Tibet-Yumbulagang and the Tombs Of the Kings. 


  • Main Attractions:Samye Monastery/Trandruk Monastery

    Samye Monastery – Tibet's first complete Buddhist monastery with "Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha," featuring a unique architectural fusion of Tibetan, Han Chinese, and Indian styles. Its mandala layout symbolizes the Buddhist universe.

    Trandruk Monastery – One of the "Three Sacred Monasteries of Lhoka" (Shannan), renowned for its priceless pearl thangka depicting the Buddha. This 7th-century temple preserves Princess Wencheng's original embroidery workshop.
